My name is Mickey Connolly, the Chairman and co-founder of Conversant. For over 35 years, my colleagues and I have explored how the way leaders connect with others impacts organizational culture and strategic success. I’ve co-authored two books that feature our research and results:  The Vitality Imperative: how connected leaders and their teams achieve more with less time, money and stress and The Communication Catalyst: the fast (but not stupid) track to value. 

I’ve worked with over 100,000 leaders, educators, and negotiators to resolve conflict, align varied interests, and accelerate achievement. I love doing work I admire with people I admire and seeing the deep satisfaction, often outright joy, they experience by achieving more than they thought possible with less time, money and stress than they imagined. 

As virtual workplaces, collaborative software and artificial intelligence change how work gets done, one thing is more important than ever: connected human endeavor. Each moment of connection will help or hurt genuine alignment, coordinated action, and resilient correction; it is best if we learn to take full advantage of those moments. 

My time away from work is filled with family, friends, food, wine, and my avid appetite for reading.
