Conversant offers two formats for the Emerging Leader Program. The in-person intensive includes a 30-minute enrollment coaching session, 90-minute virtual kickoff, one-day workshop, three monthly individual coaching sessions, and a virtual conclusion. The virtual series meets Thursdays from 9am to 12pm MT and includes structured learning sessions, group coaching, and a two-hour capstone and an option to add 2 individual coaching sessions. Both formats are grounded in Conversant’s Connected Leadership methodology and deliver the same core curriculum.
The Houston in-person session takes place September 17, 2026 in Houston, Texas. Tuition is $5,000 per person and includes a pre-program enrollment coaching session, 90-minute virtual kickoff, full-day intensive workshop, three monthly individual coaching sessions, and a virtual conclusion. The session is facilitated by Conversant consultants Katie Mingo and Patrick Kennedy. A second in-person session is available in Portland, OR on December 10, 2026.
The Emerging Leader Program is designed for first-time people leaders and new managers, employees preparing to step into a leadership role, experienced leaders seeking to reinvent their approach, and individual contributors in strategic or cross-functional roles. The program is also well suited for organizations building a pipeline of Connected Leaders who can drive results through others, deliver effective feedback, and influence across teams without relying on formal authority.
Participants develop the skills and mindset to drive results through others in alignment with organizational priorities, give feedback that inspires accountability and growth, influence across teams without formal authority, and commit to sustained personal development. The program builds a lifelong Connected Leader mindset through applied learning, peer coaching, and facilitated workshops, using Conversant’s Cycle of Value, the Intersection and Conversation Meter as core practical tools participants apply immediately.
Unlike conventional leadership training, the Emerging Leader Program grounds participants in Conversant’s Connected Leadership methodology, a conversation-based approach proven across Fortune 100 and mid-market organizations. Rather than lecture-style frameworks, the program combines individual coaching, peer learning, and facilitated practice to build habits that transfer to real challenges. Participants leave with practical tools including the Cycle of Value, the Intersection and Conversation Meter that create measurable changes in how they lead and influence.
The virtual Emerging Leader Program runs August 20 through September 24, 2026, with weekly sessions on Thursdays from 9am to 12pm Mountain Time. The program includes three-hour learning sessions, three-hour group coaching sessions, and a two-hour capstone presentation, all delivered online. Tuition is $3,500 per person, with an optional add-on of three individual coaching sessions for $1,500. The virtual format delivers the same Connected Leadership curriculum as the in-person program.
The Emerging Leader Program is facilitated by four Conversant consultants: Emma Rose Connolly, Katie Mingo, Patrick Kennedy, and Ryo Penna. Each brings more than a decade of experience in leadership development and organizational change. Their backgrounds span psychology, linguistics, motivational science, and cross-cultural facilitation. Participants benefit from a human-centered approach grounded in real organizational experience, with facilitation that adapts to individual development goals and team context.
