As Head of Operations, John’s goal is to make things run well. When things run well, people are happy, and when people are happy, they flourish. This view of human flourishing is what led John down a career path in operations. Structures, processes, and policies are, at their best, mechanisms designed to allow people within systems to thrive as individuals. At Conversant, John keeps a strategic eye on identifying, implementing, updating, and overseeing structures to support responsible business growth and planning that advance the company’s vision and promises of authenticity, wonder, community, difference, and love.
Prior to Conversant, John served as Chief Operating Officer and subsequently CEO of ECHO Listening Intelligence. He has a bachelor’s degree in Contemplative Psychology, a Master of Divinity in Mindfulness and Organizational Development, and an MBA.
John lives just outside of Boulder with his wife, Lee, who leads a small community practicing in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. Outside of work, John enjoys hiking, trips to the mountains, listening to political podcasts, and enjoying casual evenings with Lee and their friends.
