Steve started his career in Market Research before turning his attention to learning & development, providing both technical and behavioral training. He then moved into executive assessment before focusing on leadership development.
His differentiator is his rigor in the application of assessment, psychometrics, and psychology to the field of leadership development. He also provides impact coaching to conference presenters and is an accomplished meeting facilitator. He has worked on all five continents and with people from over 50 different countries. Clients have included Barclays, Bic, BP, Ernst & Young, Ericsson, Honda, HSBC, IBM, Lloyds Banking Group, Lloyds Register, Mars, Orangina-Schweppes Group, Pernod-Ricard, Vodafone and Zurich.
Steve believes that companies are transforming their working practices significantly and that people are facing complex challenges with multiple competing tensions. He has a passion for helping people unlock these challenges, leading to improved business results and a sense of personal achievement.
He has a BA with honors, is a Board Member (previously Chair) at the Association for Business Psychology and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. He also holds testing qualifications and a Diploma in Performance Coaching. He is qualified in a range of instruments such as OPQ, Wave, Hogan, JTI, Lumina Spark and 16PF. Additionally, Steve recently completed a Blockchain Strategy Programme with Oxford University and is working on various Blockchain implementations in business.
Steve is dedicated to curiosity and openness. He is deeply intrigued by global philosophy, truth, compassion, and equality. When Steve is not deeply engrossed in a book, you can find him in the wilderness on a mountain bike or on a yoga mat doing the 5 Tibetans, a simple series of exercises to start the day.
